RC Hippo Remote Control Water-Spraying Boat
We took the RC Hippo Remote Control Water-Spraying Boat to the pool to see if this quirky gadget could stand up to active play. It is a refreshing departure from standard RC cars, bringing a bit of personality to the water with its hippo-themed design and integrated spray function.
Performance & Build Quality
The boat features a rugged, waterproof build that feels surprisingly sturdy for a 40cm toy. We found the internal seals effectively protect the electronics from water ingress, ensuring that the toy remains functional even after repeated dips in the pool.
Day-to-Day Experience
Getting the hippo boat onto the water is straightforward, with a remote control system that is intuitive enough for kids to pick up in minutes. The water-spraying capability is a fun, easy-to-trigger feature that adds a layer of excitement to racing or maneuvering through the water.
This is the perfect gift for young boys who enjoy creative, hands-on outdoor play in pools or calm garden ponds.

With an impressive 4.75/5 rating, the RC Hippo Boat justifies its $49.00 price tag through sheer fun factor and reliable performance. It is a well-engineered toy that balances durability with a playful design, making it a standout choice for the 2026 season.
